Abstract

|
In this paper, the effects of narcotic analgesics were briefly reviewed in order to explain therelation between the effect of morphine and narcotic antagonists.
Nalorphine, levallorphan and naloxone were commonly used as narcotic antagonists to the acute intoxication of opium alkaloids and opioids:
These narcotic antagonists antagonize almost all of the narcotic effects, even the metabolic effect of morphine.
